Ramnagar Fort
Ramnagar Fort is home of Maharaja of Banaras. This fort was built by Maharaja Balwant Singh in the eighteenth century using red sandstone. Part of Ramnagar Fort has been converted to museum. The main attraction is a large clock that show positions of celestial objects such as planets and stars along with date & moon position.

Akhil Bharatiya Vyas Mahotsav 2011 from Dec 6
Akhil Bharatiya Vyas Mahotsav 2011 will held from 6th December to 10 December. Vyas Mahotsav is an annual cultural event.
During this festival, Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth (MGKV) will he hosting various educational and informational events based on Sanskrit, Vedas, Purans, Mahabharats and many ancient book. Asi Ghat will host the plays, dances and classical music programs.
Varanasi Nagar Nigam has already starting the cleaning works at Asi Ghat & Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth.
