Lucknow, May 9: The Sports Minister (UP) has directed the sports department officials to take out a solution to the selection trial deadlock in such a way “that the seats at various government-run sports hostel do not remain vacant and promising players are admitted to the hostels.” Talking to Express Newsline, the minister informed that Wednesday’s meeting was attended by Principal Secretary (Sports) Shri Krishan, Director Sports (Pramod Kumar), Padmashree Jaman Lal Sharma and RSO Lucknow RP Singh. “ I also phoned RSO’s of Allahabad, Varanasi and Varanasi to know their feedback as well. After hearing all of them, I directed the officials to sit and study the performance of the players during the past few years and take out the average of their performances to reach out some solution.”
